JOHN DEERE – CAN AND CONNECTIVITY HEALTH WIZARD

This software, developed by John Deere, is a software tool designed to diagnose and troubleshoot connection and communication problems in agricultural equipment. It acts as a ‘doctor’ for your machinery, performing a series of comprehensive tests to identify any anomalies.

What exactly does it do?

The program focuses on three main areas:

• System Health:
  • Evaluates your computer software and drivers to ensure they are working properly and are compatible with John Deere’s Service ADVISOR program, used to diagnose and reprogram equipment.
• Connectivity Health:
  • Check the communication between your computer, the electronic diagnostic device (EDL) and the machine’s CAN bus. The CAN bus is a communication network that allows the different components of the machine to exchange information.
• CAN bus health:
  • Perform real-time monitoring of the CAN bus to detect any problems in the communication between the different modules of the machine.
